Hi, all. I'm still looking for an AAP to augment my response to fluvoxamine for OCD, primarily, and had previously dismissed Saphris because it's metabolized by CYP1A2, an enzyme that's potently inhibited by fluvoxamine. However, there is a 2.5 mg dose of Saphris and it's metabolized through pathways other than the cyp enzymes. Further, the recommended doses are either 5 or 10 mg every 12 hrs for bipolar or schizophrenia. WOuld it be reasonable to expect that 2.5 mg with fluvoxamine every 12 hours would be approximately equivalent to the 10 mg every 12 hours that's recommended? THoughts? Thanks, all.
