5HT 1A...agonize or antagonize?

I love the anxyolitic/pro-focus action of buspar (partial agonist) but is makes me irritable and a little "zoney"

trazodone (1a antagonist) is a terrible sleep aid for me...keeps me awake actually, but it makes me feel very open emotionally and kind.

Anyone with a similar experience? I'm wondering if Trazodone would make a good daytime AD for me. Serzone kinda sucked though.
