...and I'm just to the point, with 400mgs Wellbutrin SR, that I can see that. Its weird...a lot of the stuff I thought was Schizo-whatever seems to have been depression-related. I don't hear voices as much, I don't get nearly as agitated, my anxiety is better (mostly) and my sleep has improved.
Only problem is...I think there's a good bit of improvement to make, even now. I'm not so depressed that I can't feel anything (Praise God for that!), my concentration is better, etc., but I think...yeah, I'm still lower on the mood scale than I'd like.
But is an additional...something, probably an AD (hey, its public/community mental health) really a good idea? I'm on 4 daily meds--Abilify, Trileptal, Lamictal, and Wellbutrin SR--plus very low dose (100mgs) as needed neurontin, which I rarely need, now that I'm on Wellbutrin.
SSRIs aren't good for me over the long haul. Too tranquilizing or...something. And yet, I feel like maybe something could help...I just don't know what. I still get anxious, my face turns red, I still have mood dips and swings more often than I'd like...
The official diagnosis is Bipolar I of some persuasion, probably w/ psychotic features. The main problem is severe depression, often w/ paranoia, mild auditory stuff, all that.
Thanks in advance.
