I've been taking Wellbutrin SR for a while now. first 200mgs/day, now 400mgs/day.

Its been good to me. My mood is better, I can concentrate better, and I don't have as many mini-dips into low mood. Also, although wellbutrin is somewhat stimulating, its also helped take the edge off some anxiety that I guess was related to depression (?) and hadn't been treated by my other meds.

Probably most important...I don't feel apathetic and stimulated at the same time, which is how some SSRI+SNRI drugs made me feel. Before Wellbutrin, Tofranil had been one of the few drugs that could elevate my mood effectively w/o too much apathy...but the side effects were a bit much and my pdoc didn't want me on a tca, so...yeah...wellbutrin sr.
