AP effect Brintellix

I'm trying to understand what I'm feeling from Brintellix. From what I've read, Brintellix works as an AP. I feel a bit like how I felt on Abilify-- weird. Bracing but not quite pleasant. I told myself I'd not take an AP again for personal reasons...and I find myself here again.

I'm trying to find out how Brintellix is different from other SSRIs.
