But I forgot to mention, vortioxetine (Brintellix) has been approved by the EMA and is already available in some European countries. The other countries will probably soon follow.

I'm not familiar with the exact pharmacology of vilazodone (Viibryd) and vortioxetine, so I can't compare the two, but they are both multimodal serotonergic agents. If you think that you might benefit from vilazodone, looking into vortioxetine may be a good idea.
