Nuedexta contains DXM and quinidine. Use for depression is off-label. Perhaps quinidine cancels out some of the spaciness of DXM (?).
Neudexta is purportedly a ketamin analogue - minus hallucinations. There are several on-going clinical trials for each for TRD.
Will take you up on your good advice and sample DXM first, but maybe there's a synergistic effect of the DXM/quinidine combo that I'll miss.
Focusing on NMDA receptors is my last resort.
