Cymbalta instead of Elavil

Posted by Sheilac on October 7, 2014, at 7:22:27

After several miserable days on Elavil (shakiness & no sleep), my bladder doc said I could try 30mg of Cymbalta. She doubted it would help as Elavil is the go to drug for my neuropathy.

Would I still be able to take 60mg of Geodon with 30mg of Elavil? Will the Cymbalta make me shaky like Elavil? I just wonder if I'm getting the same bumps in neurotransmitters by using both Cymbalta & Geodon. Maybe I need to just give up my beloved Geodon.

Am I being stupid and should I just use low dose Depakote to calm the jitters? (Low dose 250-375mg).
