Can an antibiotic trigger depression?

Why is it every time I start to feel better something kicks my *rs* again? I picked up an intestinal bug while traveling in Asia and it was treated with Azithromycin / Zithromax. Since then have had trouble with sleep, nightmares, concentration, energy, pain, word recall since. It has been 3 months.
