Wellbutrin Obscuring Clomipramine Response?

Posted by MuseMemento on July 12, 2014, at 13:18:16

I had a previous thread on polypharmacy and it got me thinking about different responses to psychiatric meds in different contexts. For example, adding wellbutrin to zoloft improved my depression and OCD but now that I'm taking it with clomipramine, is it possible that the wellbutrin is countering the beneficial effects of the Clomipramine? I've noticed some improvement in OCD but depression has been worse. When I was taking the wellbutrin/zoloft combination, my OCD was as bad as ever in spite of the alleviation of depression. Also taking lamictal at present and it seems to help with OCD. Thoughts?
