No. My energy level has increased. Prazosin can be somewhat soporific in the beginning. There is also a noticeable dizziness. Both of these things resolved with continued treatment. I would be interested to see how well you do with a gradual dosage titration towards 12 - 15 mg/day. I hope your doctor will consent to this experiment.

After switching back and forth a few times, I have settled on Parnate 100 mg/day. I am doing better since bringing my dosage of prazosin up from 25 mg/day to 30 mg/day. I did this last month. I am feeling better than the 35% improvement that I had been quoting for a few years. I don't think I'm up to 50%, but I appear to be getting there. I am trying to be optimistic that I won't plateau.
Caffeine can be a blessing and a curse. Now that I'm off of it, I try to stay away from coffee.
