> Why do you prefer luvox to Lexapro? I have been taking both together for a few years now. Low dose 25mg of luvox and 2.5 mg of Lexapro. the Lexapro I can stop the luvox unable to stop as then can't sleep for nights. One time a pdoc gave me high doses of benzos to stop this dose of luvox for a baseline, ended up in ER after no sleep for two weeks. I have also been on low dose benzos for over 44 years now? So should I expect to get Alzheimers? I'm only asking as they only work to allow for sleep? Thanks Phillipa

I thought Luvox would have an advantage since it targets certain symptoms more specifically such as OCD (or forms of anxiety), but its short half life may lead to a harsh discontinuation syndrome.
