is there a psychoanalytic school in your area?
this place or others like it are good places to start. analytic therapists usually have much more training in actually doing therapy than others. they are not necessarily all better than other therapists but they have much more training and if you focus on an analytic school to find a therapist for yourself you are more likely to find someone good.just keep looking. you will know when you find a good one. the main thing is to voice your concerns.

tell them all my other therapists havent helped me and i dont know if you can. the therapist for you will answer in a way that makes you trust them.a lot of it is gut feel. once i had a therapist tell me youve had a lot of treatment from great people nothing has cured you what are we going to do? i knew she wasnt for me.
another one i felt was judging me and when i told her she just denied that she was.
my current one becomes concerned when i say its not working and wants me to tell her exactly why and then she changes what she is doing based on my feedback. thats a good therapist. the bad ones just keep doing what they do they dont actually take what youre saying in in a meaningful way.
but its not so black and white either. just keep looking. dont give up.
