Tyrosine Hydroxylase defenciency??

Posted by poser938 on May 21, 2013, at 20:46:45

So, what would someone do if they're dependant in Tyrosine Hydroxylase?
They like to talk about people having a dopamine deficiency, which could be true if you are deficient in TH, I suppose.

TH works in the conversion of Tyrosine to Dopa which converts to dopamine.

What messed me up and left me in the severely anhedonic state was Mirapex. I read that most medicines that increase dopamine stimulation have negative feedback on Tyrosine Hydroxylase.

Before taking Mirapex I could feel the effects of Ritalin, now I can't. Nor do feel the effects of atypical antipsychotics as well as many other meds. I could also feel a slight effect from the supplement Tyrosine, and now I feel no effect.

So maybe I have a Tyrosine Hydoxylase deficiency.
*sigh*
