Lamictal and dark pigmentation patches on face..

Hi all, has anyone on this board developed dark pigmentation patches (melasma) on their face after taking Lamotrigine (Lamictal)? I'm mixed race and I think that makes me more prone but it began after about 1 month of treatment. I've read that Lamotrigine binds to melanin in the skin so it would make sense but I can't find it listed as a side effect anywhere??
