25 mg is a very low dose of Zoloft. However, if you keep upping the dose, you're likely to experience the emotional numbing more.
My advice would be to follow your doctors directions about titrating up and give it a few weeks. Unfortunately you really don't know how an SSRI trial will turn out until you give it some time.
Zoloft has helped me a lot in the past and it does help a lot of people so it's worth giving it a shot.
