I complain about meds, psychiatry, therapy, etc. While I know there are always trade offs with meds, I'm not anxious to go back to where I started 30 years ago.
We don't hear about people doing well on meds long term. I think that they are living life. But people that have had problems are very vocal about it which is fine. If I find that I was damaged by meds I'd make a lot of noise.
As for me, I see no long term damage. All my blood work, physicals, MRI's Ct scans, I'm OK.
And yesterday, I wrote my Congressman, Lamar Smith, asking that they look into Big Pharma. Like, a major investigation of ethics, business practices, kickbacks, lying, cheating. And it's not the first time I've done that. As for the 1.9B settlement handed down recently, I would have hit them for 15B. It's the only way to bring these bottom feeders down.
I don't like those people in the least but for the most part, the meds themselves have helped.
Will there be an investigation? Not as long as BP keeps padding politicians wallets.Life is good.
