I responded to your previous thread regarding this combination. Lamictal + Abilify has been a part of my regime for quite a few years. It has made for a good platform upon which to experiment with other treatments. Both drugs turned out to be required for my currently successful treatment. It was my strategy to combine partially helpful drugs with different mechanisms of action rather than to discontinue each one that appeared only partially helpful. It was not my intention to trial each new drug sequentially as monotherapy. I wanted to cover as many polypharmaceutical permutations as quickly as possible. This required me to take more than two at a time. For some reason, a few people here had a disdain for the number of drugs I took without my experiencing a robust therapeutic response. I knew better.
