> i was only taking low dose seroquel 100 mg when i was cured!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no abilify or other medications!!!!!!!! in summer of 2004
My theory has substance, I believe. I would discontinue the Abilify now and retry Seroquel. Remember to taper the Abilify.
I have witnessed the phenomenon of Abilify rendering Seroquel ineffective in a friend of mine. My doctor has seen it several times, too, and thinks my theory has merit.
Fr*g my theories for now. Instead, just use empirical observation of your treatment history:
1. Seroquel monotherapy worked.
2. Seroquel + Abilify did not.I would not waste time with other unproven treatments until you first attempt to reproduce the conditions that you responded to the first time. You could start Seroquel now and discontinue the Abilify once there is enough Seroquel on board to prevent any rebound psychosis.
Good luck.
