That stinks. It must be painful.

Sonata (zaleplon) is a short-acting hypnotic that helps people get to sleep. If your sleep remains disturbed throughout the night, you might need a longer acting drug like Ativan or Restoril.

Nortriptyline is a good choice for anyone who has never tried a TCA. It might make you very sleepy (somnolent) at first, but this will wear of within a few days.
