I took Mirtazapine for about 3 months and never experienced poop out. I used it to treat OCD and bipolar depression. It worked extremely well, but unfortunately made me manic-I had a hard time keeping my mood stable while I was on it. To augment my treatment with Mirtazapine I took Abilify, which is an AAP/AD. It boosted it too well.

If you can't take an SSRI with it, which I wouldn't recommend, I'd recoommend you try an AAP like Geodon, Abilify, Latuda or Seroquel.
