What I meant was when you were younger did you have anxiety around people as like he first bad thing you experienced? Like you were always just very shy? But later is when the intrusive thoughts began?
For me I had extreme shyness leading to paranoia and fear of people and being in public as the first bad thing I felt when I was younger and I got bullied a lot. Then I started to become depressed as the social anxiety went on for a long time. Then I started to get the dissociation - where I started feeling like I wasn't connected to my body and I started having these intrusive thoughts. I felt like there were like multiple voices or multiple sources of thinking in my head. It's a hard to describe but it was like the fear and negative thoughts about myself became a 2nd thing or 2nd person. Do you ever feel like this? Untreated anxiety can lead to dissociation. If you have dissociation then you will have to find a drug that can treat that. Some of the drugs used for PTSD like amitriptyline and sulpiride might be effective for you. Did you ever ask your doctor about these two drugs?
C-PTSD: social phobia, major depression, dissociation.
Currently: 300mg amitriptyline single dose at night.
Also: Allegra, 1000mg Vitamin C.
Improving.
