If my thyroid levels had been abnormal, he wouldn't be doing the biopsy. It's because they were normal and I have a nodule that he's concerned.

You don't have a nodule, and your thyroid levels may be slightly abnormal. So my experience shouldn't make you worry about cancer.

Even I'm not that worried. Especially since I read that benign thyroid nodules seem to be common in those with insulin resistance, which I certainly have. I think he's just being cautious.
