I thought it was a 4:1 to one equivalency, with Lexapro supposedly being on the four side. Regardless, when I took Celexa for one year back in 2000, it worked for me. (I think my dosage was only 10mg a day.) However, when I took Lexapro for one year back in 2005 (40mg/day), it did nothing for me. I did not get any antidepressant or antianxiety effect. So, go figure with these dang meds!
