Hmm. I am sorry torrid :-/
Can you read up a bit? On the soma? Because it is different than flexeril. And you have someone watching for contraindications? Sorry I still don't know the others you mentioned.
I think the tiazadine is more a maintenance medication. This is just homespun pharmaceutical advice. It might help with long term tension.
You can stand the flexeril? I didn't really find it super helpful, even apart from my sensitive to sides issues. So it's helping, but you need something short term?
'Flector' patches help reduce pain. They are a transdermal nsaid. It could help as a multi-pronged approach to back pain. If you could wear a patch on your back
just below the neck. Sometimes treating the pain however which way will help the body unclench.Flector costs a million dollars without insurance. There is a prescription gel called Voltaran that I have rubbed on my neck and face. It is the same nsaid as
the patch, but costs about $36 dollars a tube w/o insurance coverage where I am.I have taken the same nsaid orally to no effect. Diclofenac.
Wikipedia had a good entry on soma, if I recall.
