Lexapro SERT blockage

Posted by mrtook on May 6, 2011, at 8:39:35

So I take 20mg Lexapro, and I asked my doctor to ballpark what sort of percentage SERT inhibition this causes.

His response..."I don't know and I don't think anyone know the answer to that question"

I was surprised, but I am a little doubtful. Does anyone know the answer to that question?

Also, he mentioned that there were other methods for serotonin to be recycled other than reuptake/MAO anyone know what those are?
