Alcohol and metformin/acarbose

I guess I'm fairly lucky in that i don't get that 'flat' feeling, well, not severely anyway. In stead, i tend to gain weight - even in meds which are weight neutral. I also get a drop in sex drive - again,in meds that are not supposed to affect it.

I believe that most SSRIs are capable of creating that flat feeling.I'm not sure about the TCAs. Certainly, when i took amitriptyline a couple of years back, i didn't notice those sort of feelings.
