Lithium+Abilify? I'm scared

I have a fear of lithium, especially in combination with antipsychotics. I take 30mgs/day Abilify, which helps tremendously, but a psychiatrist at allexperts.com recommended I consider lithium. He didn't say full- or low-dose, he just said lithium helps people with my set of problems.
OK, so what do you all think? I'm prone to EPS, but I'm not having any problems with the Abilify. I'm having weird, low-grade psychosis and I'm kind of "keyed up" and a bit "on edge." Its definitely not full-fledged manic psychosis, nor is it psychotic depression.
Could a LOW dose of lithium help? I'd like to minimize side effects, so...do really low doses of lithium help anybody? I mean, like I said, I'm already on a full dose of Abilify.
