I decided I didn't like a psychiatrist last year. One reason was I didn't like his diagnosis which was "obsessive disorder," since I know a lot about pharmacology(neither ocd nor ocdp were specifically mentioned), the 2nd was he seemed to pay me lip service, the third was he prescribed me nefazodone. I did not want to take it. I saw that it caused severe liver damage in 250,000 - 300,000 patient years and thought what a quack. I don't know how I got the idea that this was a great chance of happening. Assuming I live another 60 years thats nothing. Prozac elevated my liver functions which might put me in the 250,000 range but its still rare.
