> OK, so we all know that with the old antipsychotics, high doses=Thorazine-d into oblivion. The question I have: does it happen with the newer, "atypical" antipsychotics? As someone who takes 30mgs/day of Abilify, I'm a bit worried. Would I know if I had NIDS?

If you had NIDS, you wouldn't have the interest, motivation, or energy to do anything. You would have flat affect, anhedonia, anergia, and be virtually catatonic. I doubt you would have the mental resources to post on Psycho-Babble. Abilify might be the AP least likely to cause deficit syndrome, perhaps because it is a partial agonist at dopamine D2 and D3 receptors.

The measure of success lies only in how high one feels he must
climb to get there.
