I don't really know what to tell you...sometimes you can be stimulated to the point of inactivity, like the over-medicated "Ritalin Kids" who stared off into space because their ritalin doses were so high. That's all I can think of.
Could you try another approach? Supplements, vitamins? Biofeedback? Self-help? Therapy?
