Interesting. It's always good to have something new in the arsenal for depression. I wonder if any older drugs will be screened for activity at the nicotinergic receptors?
I wouldn't be surprised if a big part of Wellbutrin's effectiveness comes from it having nicotinergic blocking properties, since its actions actions as a dopamine-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor are rather weak.
