I was placed on Seroquel. No more insomnia and no more effects from insomnia. I have been on it since 2004. It changed my life, I get the sleep I need. I had the strength to fight the cas. I won in ever aspect. I can move forward.
The previous events that led up to all this choas-a car accident then a sexual assault by a stranger. Of course, having a difficult relationship didnt help either.
How did I recover? Seroquel started it all. It provided me the required sleep I needed. Having that adequate sleep allowed me to focus and go through therapy. Fear is a very disturbing emotion, remembering that it is an "emotion" is key. Understanding your triggers is key. Stop, walk and think is key. Getting your partner to understand and participate-so important. If you value your relationship - work it out. A few years of therapy and just like a light bulb-click and the light goes on.
