Augmenting with stimulant

Is is possible to augment an antidepressant with a stimulant. Wouldn''t it also help in counteracting the weight gain that comes with taking ADs. I've noticed some bloggers who use a combination of ad and stimulants like Vyvanse. I don't think I have adhd but I do seem to have a hard time with foggy thinking lately. Thanks ahead with your replies.
