I've taken 27 or 36mg since november.
During that period I have experienced some problems with agitation and tachycardia, particularly at the higher dose, but consistently exeprienced brighter mood, improved memory and overall executive functioning.
My hunch is that either one or both of the antidepressants I take in conjunction with concerta are producing this sustainable mood lift. I say this because the immediate dose contained in the coating rarely produces any meaningful shift in mood first thing, whereas an hour or two after taking a pill of effexor (75mg) and cipralex (10mg), I get this calm, solid, raise in mood throughout the day.
Naps in the day can be annoying though, with adrenaline spikes when i think of anything i have to do, or is worrying me. But this is such a minor point that it's hardly worth mentioning.
In contrast to dexedrine, there are no appreciable come-downs or unpleasant sad or negative thoughts and I generally feel less like i'm on a 'reccy' and more on something with a proper medical application.
