Hi there,
for the last month or so I have been waking up having to pee a lot during the night. It took me about 2 weeks to realize that it wasn't transient and then another week to realize it might be the Nardil - duh. So I wiki'd Nardil and it says a S/E is urinary retention. That's not my problem. However, if you wiki urinary retention, it says:"Urinary retention is characterised by ... a sense of incomplete voiding ... As the bladder remains full, it may lead to incontinence, nocturia (need to urinate at night) and high frequency. "
Et voila, it's the Nardil. Waking up to pee a lot is not a serious S/E but it's leaving me tired every day. And when I say a lot, I mean _a lot_. Last night I went to bed at 11:30pm and woke at 12:30, 1:20, 2:40, 3:30, 4:00, 5:45 and 6:30 to pee. The toilet's downstairs though so at least I'm getting some exercise!
Anyway, sorry for blathering on but if anyone knows any tips/tricks then I'd like to hear them. And no, I am not drinking 14 pints of water just before bed. I do drink 5 or so cups of English tea a day but that's never caused this problem in the past.
Cheers,
Petep.s. from a brief PB search I believe this is the first post on Nardil night-time peeing. If not, kindly point me at a helpful thread.
