I too have done research overnight and it seems to be a more powerful antidepressant than Zoloft.
( Being an SSNRI)The more I think about yesterday'a Appt with the PDoc...I guess I am dissappointed.
as usual, I set my expectations too high..and feel let down.The side effects of pristiq are disturbing, and
I really would like to try and eliminate AD'S from my system all together...and allow my body to return to naturally producing the chemicals I need to maintian a normal mood.
When I suggested this to the Doc yesterday, he brushed it of and said "no...that wont work, you will just spiral down into a more depressed state"After being on Zoloft for this many years....I still wonder if DAMAGE has been caused by long term use.
Again...when I mentioned this to the Doc..he said "no..long term anti-depressant use doesnt damage you"What has your research revealed?
Anyone?BF
