I'm not sure how useful this "blood platelet" NT analysis would be to a pdoc, as most neurotransmitters do not cross the blood-brain-barrier, including serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine.
In other words, the measurement of serotonin from this blood test won't necessarily be correlated to the actual amount of serotonin available to your brain.
