It would be basically like downing alcohol, in fact it is used as an adulterant.

Its as ancient as Placidyl.

I would try a usual sleep dose of amitriptyline before going near that stuff. Even that carries enough liability.

Or as suggested, doxepin.

I don't recall though if you're on an MAOI, which would rule out those two.

I would find few doctors who would prescribe it today, maybe older doctors who prescribe medications not used commonly.

It really is not safe.
