In reply to Dental visits and nardil?, posted by TriedEveryDrug on March 6, 2009, at 20:22:44
Technically you dont have to come nardil for dental surgery or other forms of surgery...but chances are they will recommend it. The will have their preference on types of drugs they use for dentistry and it's easier for them to ask you to come off nardil. But in fact there are drugs out there that can be administered safely for dental procedures but I would be doubtful if your typical dentist would be all that familiar or comfortable administering those. Maoi's are old school and nearly forgotten by modern medicine. This is something I dread that is coming in my near future...3 years without a dental checkup means cavities almost for sure and i'm on nardil...with my luck, as it comes with drs, the dentist will be a brick wall with negotiation.
