In reply to Anticonvulsants not effect. for biplor w/anxiety?, posted by garnet71 on February 8, 2009, at 23:34:37
I have had anxiety (was diagnosed GAD+Depression) in the past, I am actually BPII, and since I have been on Lamictal a little over a year, I have had very little anxiety at all. I've come to the possibility that I was actually having dysphoric hypomania.
I do take 5mg lexapro and 0.75mgs klonopin with the Lamictal so that could be helping with anxiety, but really it improved the most after I got on the Lamictal...herpills
