I've been unable to get the answer off the Health Canada website all day. I keep get server errors.
Since you're in Ottawa, it would be a local call. For the life of me, I can't tell for sure which number to call.....the titles of the branches don't seem to have just the right name. I'm sure calling the general inquiry number will get you directed properly.

I've never had any problem importing meds. A copy of the prescription with the drug while in transit covers things, as far as I know. And mail is the cheaper method. No surprise brokerage fees.
