> Geez - I was doing some reading today and cannot believe how many of us are having/have had weight issues from certain (many - most?) meds. It's so unfair. As if feeling so unwell mentally isn't enough. If I read one more manufacturer written article that says no weight gain noted I think I will scream.
One thing I've noticed, when I take a med that makes me not hungry during the day (I have low blood sugar) boy I'll make it up eve/night time. And thats the worst time to eat!
And no, can't remember one med, if left to its own devices, that wouldn't cause wieght gain or was at best neutral.
Except, (not recommending for weight loss!) Parnate recently caused me to drop wieght so fast it was becoming a problem. Its slowly coming back now. Which actually is a good thing.
Another consideration, I do believe regardless of meds, certain types of depression cause weight loss, but many/most types cause weight gain.
I think I've been seeing on this board a couple (new?) augments/meds that do help with weight loss tho. May you find a med that is weight friendly!
