Welllll....

Living where I do, sweat is a close acquaintance. There is a definite difference in this.

However, I must admit that those times I am most stressed are also the times I'm not taking care of myself in any number of ways. So it's not all that weird to think that something else in my health is causing the irritation.

We're not talking minor irritation either. We're talking raw and bleeding. Between antibiotic ointment and steroidal creams, I manage to keep it mainly manageable.

If it just *felt* irritated, I'd assume it was a hypersensitivity issue. Certainly when I get really anxious, *everything* bothers me way more. I have to wear soft clothing with no irritants like tags. I'm about to get a mole removed because it drives me crazy at those times. But I don't think I could manage to make my underarms bleed through hypersensitivity to stimuli.
