Nortriptyline and Zoloft?

I've beening seeing increasing posts concerning this cocktail of nortriptyline and zoloft. Does anyone know what the theory would be behind why this might be more effect than something like and SNRI? I'm assuming that Nortriptyline is being used for lack of a better norepinephrine booster, but why Zoloft, of all the SSRI's available? Is it because of the purported domapine effects?
