If you're having a panic attack, I'm sure you're quite familiar with it having a history of it -- I may be using transference from my own experience, but the fact that you are sitting there taking your own cuff and thankfully not keeling over (no offense meant), and describing all the OK'd tests in the ER, I would say that this could also be enough anxiety built up that it falls not necessarily exactly, but somewhere in the somatoform spectrum.

Pent up anxiety that doesn't know another place to go, for unknown reasons, and with a lot of perfectly "normal" physical health diagnosis, can produce something that appears to be, in your case, normal blood pressure, hyperventilation, and high pulse rate.

Its a treatable condition but requires a certain degree of psychological intervention for one, I think.

Now I could be completely wrong -- but I know that when I have had panic attacks in the past, I was frazzled or paralyzed by fear, none of which I see in the video.

It would take a seasoned doctor from academia to tease out what exactly is happening, I think, but in the mean time unless it is contraindicated, why not ask your doctor for some propranolol or clonidine (not both at the same time, the prior being much better) to manage this particular type of manifestation.

-- just a thought
