Prozac 80 mg.......and a stimulant.

Posted by Sky Brite Line on July 30, 2008, at 10:23:23

I'm now prescibed the highest, dose i believe there is for prozac. My doctor said it will help some with anxiety, and eventually reduce the High Xanax dose.

I dont feel much diffrence, i feel more active. Its hard to descibe, but......taking a high dose of antidepressant, with a psychostimulant. Is that ok? Vyvanse is Lisdexamphetamine (slow-acting form of dexamphetamine) I take 140mg, so. I definetly am operating better. Than ever before.

Its just, in the past i've been diagosed Manic-depressive, hypomanic. And i stopped taking Abilify, and Seroquel. My doctor, dianosed me with mainly anxiety disorder, with attention problems. But in the past, i've been told i had a genetic condition called Asperger's (high activity, but odd behavior) - so it could be both.

Can this have a bad reaction with no mood stabilzer? I've been fine lately.....no "rush" of thoughts, or out of control thinking. My head always gets dizzy.....

Whats your opinion....and i would like to hear from you, really.

******Disclaimer: I realize im trying to get back on track and post to other's post, give advice to those who i know, Like i did for years, but im just getting back on feet again. So, i apolgoize for the post just asking a simple question.
