Hi,
I may have to take a broad toxicology screening (more than your typical job application screening) for an upcoming foreign adoption and dont know what they test for (Im going to try and find out).
I am considering going back on Zoloft for anxiety and depression (see my post above). Is it typical to screen for antidepressants, especially Zoloft? If they do test for zoloft, how far in advance of the screening should I discontinue it to come out clean? Do people have zoloft prescribed for anything besides anxiety and depression (e.g., migraines)? Maybe I can use that as my excuse (Im male, so cant say for PMS!).
Also, I currently take 4 x 0.5mg clonazepam and 1 x 0.5mg xanax to manage my anxiety. I understand benzos (esp. xanax) are typically screened for as drug abusers use benzos to come down off their highs. Do they typically screen for clonazepam? If they do test for clonazaepam and xanax, how far in advance of the screening should I discontinue it to come out clean?
While treatment for anxiety and depression isn't a big deal for domestic (US) adoptions, the foreign country I'm dealing with does consider it a big deal (unfairly).
Many thanks in advance for any help!
