OCD is notoriously hard to treat with medication. I personally don't have "primary" OCD and it's moderate (it can be fairly bad but when it is, I break out of it after a couple of hours max). I am bipolar and do notice less OCD symptoms when my BP is behaving.

However, I do think transcendental-type meditation, 20 minutes twice a day, helps with OCD as well as anxiety. I say transcendental-type because I don't buy the religious stuff, but the technique is definitely effective.

That said, clonazepam seems to help all my symptoms, including OCD, when I take it. I take a large dose about twice a week to break up what they call a "mixed state".
