Oxytocin and risperdal

Posted by Michael Bell on July 13, 2008, at 15:08:29

Well, as an update... my psychiatrist, who is awesome, is happy about the fact that the "physical" symptoms of Social Phobia seemed to have been permanently diminished, if not cured. But the feeling of always being watched, analyzed, evaluated, etc., has a paranoid component to the Social Phobia, he says. Therefore he put me on very low dose risperdal. We'll see how that goes.

In other news, I ordered pharmaceutical grade Oxytocin and will do a self-trial over the course of the next couple weeks to see the effects on social phobia and reward. I'll keep everyone posted.
